| Biography (Provided by Candidate) |
Dean Greco is a 28 year-old middle school teacher from Flemington, NJ. He teaches “Communication Technology” which is more-or-less TV production. Upon graduating from Rowan University in 2001 with a BA in Communication (Specialization: Radio/TV/Film) Dean worked in television for 2 years before transitioning to teaching in 2003. Dean occasionally moonlights as a Stand-Up Comic, having performed in clubs across NJ and NYC.
The candidate has lived in the 7th district for the past 3 years, and spent his early years in Morris County, NJ. He has been married to his wife Nicole for the past 3 years as well. They both enjoy breakfast together on a regular basis. Dean has loved breakfast since he was a young boy and will go out of his way for good breakfast food. Some of his favorite breakfast memories include his Grandma Kate’s french toast, breakfast down the shore, and searching for new and strange breakfasts with Nicole.
This is Dean’s first foray into professional politics. However, he has run for several political offices throughout elementary and high school (I’m really stretching now). Dean also ran his school’s student government program from 2004-2006.

| Views on Issues (Provided by Candidate) |
A) My goal is to promote breakfast as the most delicious meal of the day. I feel that people in the 7th district and nationwide often overlook the importance of breakfast. Breakfast foods are so good that you can really eat them any time of day (even for dinner). Try eating a dinner food for breakfast. 7am hotdogs?…yuck! I feel that more emphasis should be put on breakfast on a national level. If everyone started the day with a delicious breakfast, then surely all of our other problems could be dealt with in a more rational manner. If elected, I will fight to make Election Day a National Breakfast Awareness Day. Voting is one of the most important privileges we have in the US. You wouldn't want to make this decision on an empty stomach. I will also fight for benefits for our nation's farmers – the men and women who help put so many of our beloved breakfast foods on the table.
B) Anyone can have his or her voice heard in this country. Whether your passion is breakfast, or something more serious (though breakfast is pretty important), you can have your voice heard in this country. We are all very blessed to live in the United States, a land where if you want to get involved, you don't have to be a spectator. If you feel passionately enough about something, you don't have to be a millionaire to make a difference.
C) Lately, the financial outlook for our country has been kind of scary. All though times are tough all around, this doesn't mean we need to stop being generous to our neighbors or those less fortunate. It also doesn't mean we have to abandon our hopes and dreams. I've met so many great Americans in the last few months that are living the American dream - people who haven't given up when the odds were stacked against them. Let's not forget the hope we have in each other and in this country.
