Biography (provided by candidate)

I was born in Summit and raised in North Plainfield. I attended the School of Engineering at Columbia University and earned a bachelor’s of science degree in Operations Research in 1981. At age 25 I was elected President of the New York City co-operative apartment building where I lived. In 1992, after living in New York City for 16 years, I returned to New Jersey taking up residence in Piscataway with my wife and two daughters, Alexandra and Stephanie. Alexandra is currently a third-year student studying environmental science at Northeastern University in Boston. Stephanie lives with her mom and is a junior at Piscataway High School.

For the past 20 years I have worked as a business process engineer, primarily designing business software for companies such as Bell Laboratories in Holmdel, Telcordia in Piscataway, and currently for AT&T Labs in Middletown. I am also a part-time registered representative with Primerica Financial Services in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, providing personal financial coaching for clients in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida.

I enjoy volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and also served as director of the volunteer crew for the Anthony Robbins event, Unleash the Power Within, this past August in Secaucus.

Views on Issues (provided by candidate)

The three most important issues in this election are the reform of the political system, energy, and America’s standing in the world.

Our Constitution sets forth the greatest system of government on earth. This due in large part to existence of three DIVERSE branches of government (executive, legislative, judiciary) with clearly defined 'checks and balances' of powers among the branches. Our system of government has been manipulated to create various laws and regulations which favor the two-party machine. This is a violation of our Constitutional right to Equal Protection. This machine has failed to produce the leaders our people, our society, and our world deserve. If you agree the system is broken and then you vote for candidates in one of the two existing major parties, you have done far worse than waste your vote. You have voted against your own beliefs, opinion, and future. We, the People, and we alone have the power to transform our political system. We will rise up, become vigilant, informed, and involved and we will reclaim our government. We will transform our political system by supporting independent, unaffiliated, and minor party candidates in all elections, for any office, any time they appear on the ballot. Any vote for any candidate of the two existing major parties is an endorsement of the broken system. We will no longer endorse a broken system. We will take our place in government, in State Legislatures and the US House of Representatives. We will pass legislation that will continue to transform our political system back to a government of the people, for the people and by the people.

Energy is the lifeblood of our economy, our security, and ultimately our freedoms. Relying on foreign sources of energy, particularly oil puts us at risk of being manipulated and even controlled by foreign governments. We need to make it a non-negotiable goal of this country to achieve clean, renewable energy independence by using all the tools at our disposal.

Our security and prosperity is tightly woven with our standing in the world. We need to repair our image abroad and the way to do this is through genuine leadership which views our place in world today realistically. When we return to the ideals of respect for others, civil rights, protection of the environment, and humility exercising our power abroad, then we will begin the journey of repairing our standing in the world community.
