Jimmy Martinez currently serves as a Northfield City Councilman and has worked in the home security and fire protection industry for nearly 15 years.  Jimmy understands the struggles of starting your own small business, having previously owned and operated the Pleasantville Cleaners.  Among his accomplishments on Northfield City Council, Jimmy is most proud of his efforts to downsize government and spearhead a "Green Initiative" to promote eco-friendly practices within the city of Northfield.  In addition to serving on Council, he has also served the community as a volunteer with the former Northfield Rescue Squad.  

Jimmy and his wife, Sara, have two children.
